A post just to post!!!

Ok, after 2 big time wins over ranked opponents the Indiana Hoosiers lost to Iowa. It was just ugly, the team looked slow & gave up a late 10 point lead to lose 64-63. The reason I posted this is to push my previous IU post further down my page. I want to get those long & forgotten about now videos off the main part of my page.

Big game Tuesday night against the hometown disliked (by me) Purdue Boilermakers. Well, it's not that I dislike the Boilers, I'm just a die hard IU basketball fan. It will be brutal inside Mackey Arena Tuesday night.

GO HOOSIERS!!!

IU Basketball!!!

It's been a frustrating 3 years for the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team but they are starting to roll a bit. They have beaten 2 ranked teams within one week. They had a major upset going at Michigan St. but poor free throw shooting down the stretch sent the game to OT. In OT they lost which would have made it 3 ranked teams in one week. The injuries have been devastating this year as they have lost 3 of their top scorers, 2 out for the rest of the season. Verdell Jones was back in the lineup tonight & played well. Below is a thundering dunk by Tom Pritchard.

The Hoosiers, the last perfect team, undefeated in 1976 at 32-0. There have been some extremely good teams since the last men's college basketball program went undefeated. This year is turning out to be another one of those edge of the seat seasons for hard core Hoosier fans wanting to protect that magical season. The Ohio St. Buckeyes are threatening to run the table. The Buckeyes are sitting at 23-0 thus far. There have been some challenging games recently but one characteristic of an undefeated team is to win those close ones & OSU is doing that. I'm keeping a close eye on this team as we head down the stretch of conference play in The Big Ten.

Democracy in Egypt?

Here we go again..another mythical rallying cry from The US for the sake of human rights activists in the Middle East. The very same rallying cry we used to invade & occupy Iraq. Well, after there were no WMD's found. The very same human rights we violated while murdering detainees we've had since that invasion. Everybody is blaming Obama for this trouble over there. Anyone doing that must have been asleep for decades as trouble in the Middle East has been around since the beginning of time. Anyway, wasn't it Bush that stated that America would be better off with the Middle East being a democratic society, a society that's impossible to achieve for that area. So, get ready Americans, be careful what you ask for! Chaos like this generation has never seen is on the way.

If we truly stood for human rights and go to this length to falsely assure these rights in the Middle East then why is Saudi Arabia one of our closest allies from that region? The Saudi government is one of the greatest violators of human rights in that region.

What I'm hoping is that the US not be involved in developing a democratic government in Egypt, our track record sucks in these situations. Just take a look at Iraq & Afghanistan. Egypt has been on our puppet strings for awhile now. The strings are about to get tighter. No way, no how will the US not force the people of Egypt to let them show them how it's done, LOL!

This also gives the US an opportunity to build yet more military bases in Egypt, developing more global domination. This will add to the 700+ scattered out in every corner of the planet. (150+ countries)

Also, there's no doubt in my mind that the US is behind this coup in every way possible. Any chaos in any country that involves the possible overthrow of a government has the US trademark stamped all over it.

The White House claims it is not taking sides in this matter. That's a joke, the US had taken some sort of side in this matter long ago, and will continually, regardless. They've supported Mubarak for years & now want him out??? Without a doubt the US is up to its despicable acts of global domination & with some sort of payoff just waiting around the corner at the civilians expense.

White House: We're not taking sides in Egypt!!!
