Alberto Contador of Spain has been suspended by The Spanish sports ruling body. The UCI had already banned him for two years in August for the use of Clenbuterol, a performance enhancing drug. Contador must also forfeit his 2010 Tour de France Title. Contador, over the past few years showed every bit as much dominance as Lance Armstrong did in winning his 7 consecutive TdFrance titles. Contador has also won the trifecta of grand tours, winning The Vuelta & The Giro.

The Lance saga will probably go on for years & if found guilty will carry some brutal consequences, maybe. Already being talked about as being the greatest fall from grace in sports history!!

Super Bowl Extravaganza!!!

Well, after the shock of my Chicago Bears not being in The Super Bowl, I have to take this time & decide on my viewpoint of having a Packers/Steelers showdown. Who am I for? Do I choose a team that took my Bears out of contention? Or do I choose against them? Ummmm, a tough, tough choice to say the least. Ok, it's not that I don't like the Steelers story but I like the Packers story more. I mean heck, they have been the only team to stand up to Brett Farve & say..go away!! Their choice to pursue Aaron Rodgers as a leader appears to be gaining ground & I hope that Rodgers can prove them right.

Ok, ok, it's the Packers then....GO PACK!!!!!

Bush a Criminal??

Former President Bush is now being exposed as the war criminal & domestic criminal he is. Finally, many Americans have been waiting for this information to come to the forefront. We've known for years that he committed or is responsible for war crimes. These murders against these detainees are against the very promise The US has made to the world....we do not kill prisoners nor do we torture them. Well, guess what? The US has been found to be lying on both accounts. Us Americans wonder why every country on the face of this earth hates US foreign policy.

Regardless of what most Americans think about the guilt or innocence of these prisoners, many were actually innocent. Documents show that 90% of these prisoners were a result of the US military throwing $$$$ & food to these poor families for information on terrorists. Ummm, now what do you think happened? Families were turning in every family member possible regardless of their guilt. The bottom line, most of these captures were innocent civilians.

Keep in mind people, the US was the leader of the pack when it came to ratifying The Geneva Convention!!! And it has been a rallying cry in US wars, invasions, occupations, or any other use of military power against prisoners or any torture on Americans. Or even when citizens just happen to be hiking on the Iraq/Iran border & are captured!!!
